Chauth Mata Temple stands on Banganga Hill approximately 5 kilometers from Bundi district headquarters in Rajasthan. The shrine is dedicated to Chauth Mata, revered as an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. According to local tradition, the Hada Chauhan king of Bundi, unable to travel to the original Chauth Mata Temple in Chauth Ka Barwara near Sawai Madhopur during his advanced years, brought a replica idol and established this temple on the hilltop. The temple features Hindu architectural style with two main gates, offering devotees access via stairs or a road leading up the hill. Chauth Mata is worshiped as the royal family deity of Bundi. The temple becomes particularly vibrant during Karva Chauth and Til Chauth festivals, when large numbers of devotees gather for darshan and annual fairs are organized.
