About the temple

Nachna-Kuthara comprises some of central India's earliest surviving stone temples, with the Parvati Temple and Chaumukhnath Temple representing exceptional examples of 5th–6th century Gupta-era and 9th-century architecture respectively. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
