About Bhavani mandir

Located on the banks of the Mandakini River in Tuljapur, Dharashiv district, this ancient temple was constructed during the 12th century CE by Mahamandaleshwara Māradadeva of the Kadamb dynasty. Perched on Yamunachala Hill within the Balaghat Range, approximately 45 kilometers northeast of Solapur, the shrine attracts pilgrims throughout the year who seek darshan and participate in daily rituals. The temple's spiritual significance is heightened during evening aarti ceremonies and major festivals, particularly Navaratri, when special pujas are performed and the devotional atmosphere intensifies.
