About Dashabhuja Mandir

Located in the Erandwane area of Pune, the Dashabhuja Ganapati Temple is renowned for housing a unique manifestation of Lord Ganesha with ten arms and an elephant trunk resting on the right side, considered rarer and more auspicious than other Ganesh forms. The temple has historical significance, having once been owned by Sardar Haripant Phadke, a Sardar of the Peshwa, before being donated to the Peshwas as dowry. The shrine attracts devotees throughout the day for darshan and aarti, with particularly heightened spiritual atmosphere during evening rituals and major festivals, especially Ganesh Chaturthi when visitor numbers surge significantly.
