About Datta Mandir

Shri Datta Mandir stands as a significant place of worship in Pune's Budhwar Peth locality, devoted to Bhagwan Dattatreya. Founded by Smt. Lakshmibai in 1898, the temple reflects deep spiritual devotion and maintains active worship practices. A distinctive feature is the weekly palanquin procession of Bhagwan Dattatreya and his foot paduka every Thursday at 11:15 PM, accompanied by devotional music. The temple organizes bhajan-kirtan sessions on every Ekadashi from 5:30 PM, fostering community spiritual engagement. The shrine remains open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily and offers basic amenities including prasad distribution, a gift shop, and seating facilities.
