About the temple

Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple is one of Singapore's oldest Hindu temples, established in the 1850s by Sri Lankan Tamil immigrants and dedicated to Lord Ganesha (Vinayagar). It features a striking 21-metre Raja Gopuram and a rare musical pillar, earning recognition as a Historic Site in 2003. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
