Nadapuram Iringannur Siva Temple stands as one of the oldest temples in Kozhikkode district, situated in Iringannur village within Edacheri Panchayath. The temple enshrines Dakshinamurthy, a manifestation of Lord Shiva, represented through a Shiva lingam. According to local tradition, the sage Parasurama installed the deity, making it part of the celebrated network of 108 Shiva temples throughout Kerala. The temple is specifically identified as one of three Thrikkapaleeswaram temples mentioned in the 108 Shiva temples sothram, with its counterparts located in Niranam and Kadachira. The architecture exemplifies Kerala temple style with a distinctive two-tiered rectangular sanctum sanctorum featuring a tile roof and four doors on each cardinal direction, though only the eastern entrance remains in active use. The temple is classified as a Maha Kshethram due to its architectural features including Nalambalam, Thidappally, and Balikkalpura structures.
