About the temple

The Mahadev Ghat group comprises eighth to ninth century Hindu temple ruins located north of Thubon village in Ashoknagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The complex features multiple mandapika-style temples dedicated to various deities, now largely in ruined condition. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
