About Kalika Bhagawati Temple

The Kalika Bhagawati Temple, also known as Baglung Kalika Bhagawati Temple, stands as an important religious site in western Nepal's Baglung district. Located southeast of the town of Baglung in the Gandaki Province, the temple occupies a prominent position on the southern banks of the Kali Gandaki River. The shrine is dedicated to Kali, the fierce manifestation of the divine feminine in Hindu tradition. The temple features pagoda-style architecture characteristic of Nepali temple design. The site draws devotees throughout the year, particularly during major Hindu festivals including Navaratri, Teej, and Chaite Dashain, when the temple becomes a focal point for religious observance and celebration.
