About the temple

The Devrani Jethani Temple Complex comprises two ruined temples in Tala, Chhattisgarh, dating to the 6th century CE. The better-preserved Devrani temple features a distinctive Rudra Shiva statue whose body is composed of animal and human figures. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
