Vedapuriswarar Temple, Thiruvedhikudi

The temple is designated as a *Thirumana Thiruthalam*—a place of marriage blessings. The Saptha Sthanam Festival

Each April, Vedapuriswarar Temple participates in the Saptha Sthanam festival, held at Tiruvaiyaru. During this annual convergence, seven glass palanquins carrying the principal deities from the seven respective temples are brought together and paraded near the car stand. Devotees witness Poochorithal, a flower festival in which a doll ceremonially offers flowers to each of the principal deities in the palanquins. Following this ritual, the palanquins return to their respective temples. This festival draws hundreds of witnesses and represents a rare gathering of these seven sacred sites' deities.

Visiting the Temple

The temple is open for darshan during two periods daily: morning from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM and evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The best time to visit is during Panguni (March–April), particularly on the 13th–15th days if you wish to witness the solar alignment phenomenon. April is also ideal for experiencing the Saptha Sthanam festival at Tiruvaiyaru.
