Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Lucknow

The temple's main hall features an oval design constructed in white marble, creating a luminous and serene interior. The centerpiece is a 6.5-foot Hanuman murti carved from a single piece of marble, positioned so that devotees can view it from all corners of the prayer hall. The temple also houses two additional Hanuman murtis, two murtis of Neem Karoli Baba, and two Shiva lingas. The interior walls are decorated with intricate murals depicting scenes from Hindu epics—Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman, as well as the Vanarsena (monkey army) and bears constructing the bridge to Lanka. The space accommodates approximately 250 devotees at a time.
