About Sanatan Dharm Mandir
Founded on December 14, 1961, and inaugurated by Shri Mihirchandra Ji Khanna, this temple in BK Dutta Colony near Lodhi Road enshrines a comprehensive collection of North Indian deities. The temple features eight distinct shrine structures (shikharas) dedicated to different divine forms. The first floor houses Sapta Rishi and Bhagwan Kartikeya, while the ground floor contains Navagraha Dham and Mata Sheetla. Additional installations include Radha Krishna, Lakshmi Narayan, Ram Darbar, Maa Vaishno, Shri Hanuman, Maa Saraswati, Shri Ganesh, Shivling, Maa Kali, Sai Maharaj, and various other deities. The temple organizes daily bhajans and kirtans from 8:00 AM, with special Tuesday night kirtans dedicated to Bhagwan Hanuman. Monthly bhandara (community feast) is held on the last Sunday, and the foundation day marks the main annual festival.
