About Khema Baba Temple

Located near a sand dune in Baytu, Barmer District, this Hindu temple commemorates Khema Baba, a social reformer born in village Baytu Bhopji who earned reverence across Rajasthan and Gujarat. The temple sits 800 meters from Baytu railway station and government bus stand, approximately 48 kilometers from Barmer District headquarters. The shrine houses idols of Khema Baba alongside his wife Veera Devi. Annual fairs organized on Magha Sudi 9 and Bhadrapada Sudi 9 attract thousands of pilgrims from the Marwar region and surrounding areas. Renovation work began in October 2020 and continued through at least December 2022.
