About Kali Mata Mandir

Maa Mahakali Mandir is located in Sector 3-4 of RK Puram, New Delhi, near the Sri Venkateswara Balaji Temple. Founded on May 3, 1973, by Smt. Sheela Devi, the temple houses an idol of Mata Kali in its main sanctum. According to Hindu tradition, worshipping Mahakali is believed to grant the Ashta Siddhi (eight spiritual accomplishments) and fulfill the wishes of devotees who approach with sincere faith and devotion. Beyond the primary deity, the temple also enshrines Hanuman, Lord Shiva, and Ganesha beneath a banyan tree. The temple serves as a spiritual center and is managed by the Maa Mahakali Mandir Prabandhak Samiti. Durga Puja and Navratri are celebrated with elaborate decorations and special programs, drawing devotees from across Delhi and surrounding areas.
