About Chauth Mata Temple

Perched atop a hill in Chauth Ka Barwara village, Chauth Mata Temple represents a significant spiritual center in Rajasthan's religious landscape. The shrine was established by Maharaja Bhim Singh, who brought the idol of Chauth Mata from Pachala, located approximately 15 kilometers away, and installed it on the hilltop before constructing the temple structure. The temple complex features Rajput architectural style with intricate marble and tile work adorned with divine motifs. Visitors must ascend approximately 700 steps to reach the sanctum, which rewards pilgrims with panoramic views of the Aravalli range and surrounding meadows. The main shrine houses the idol of Chauth Mata alongside idols of Lord Bhairav and Lord Ganesha. Devotees believe the goddess fulfills wishes, provides protection from evil, and bestows blessings of peace and prosperity upon families.
