Daily Worship and Darshan

Monday through Saturday, except Friday, the temple opens at 5:30 a.m. and closes at 8:30 a.m., reopens from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and again from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Friday operates on an extended schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (closed). Sunday programming is more elaborate, running from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

The temple performs Maha Arati (the principal offering ritual) at 12:30 p.m., followed by Nrsimhadeva pranams (prayers to Nrsimhadeva, an incarnation of Vishnu) at 12:40 p.m. These occur as part of the midday worship. Weekly classes include Srimad Bhagavad Gita study from 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday mornings, and a Bhagavatam Katha class in Hindi on Wednesday evenings. Thursday evenings feature the Krishna Lounge Program at the adjacent Krishna Cultural Center.

Sunday Feast and Community Gathering

Sunday is the primary day for community participation. The Sunday program runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and includes the Maha Arati at 12:30 p.m., followed by announcements and a Bhagavad Gita discourse at 1:30 p.m. The program concludes with a grand feast—a vegetarian meal offered first to the deities and then distributed to all present. This practice, common in ISKCON temples, creates a space for both worship and communal gathering.
