About Bhutandevi Mandir

Bhutandevi Mandir is a Hindu temple located in Hetauda city of Bagmati Province, Nepal, dedicated to the goddess Bhutandevi, who is identified with Hidimba from Hindu mythology. Hidimba was one of the wives of Bhima and the mother of Ghatotkacha, a significant warrior in the Kurukshetra War. The goddess is also venerated as another manifestation of Durga, the supreme feminine divine power. The city of Hetauda itself derives its name from the goddess Hidimba, reflecting the deep cultural and religious significance of this deity in the region.
