About the temple
The BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi is the first traditional Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi and the largest in West Asia, consecrated on 14 February 2024. Built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, it features hand-carved pink sandstone and white marble architecture and welcomed over 2.2 million visitors in its inaugural year. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
