About Ashapura Mata Temple, Nadol

Located in Nadol village, this revered Hindu shrine serves as the kuldevi (family goddess) temple for the Chauhan Rajput community and is widely worshipped across Rajasthan and Gujarat. Established during the medieval period, possibly by Chauhan dynasty rulers who held the region as a stronghold, the temple reflects traditional Rajasthani architectural style with intricately carved pillars and stonework. The sanctum houses the holy idol of Maa Ashapura Mataji. The temple is known for daily Mata Ka Bhandaar (community meal service) and attracts large numbers of devotees during Navratri celebrations and significant family occasions such as marriages and rituals.
