About Arangulanathar Temple

Located in the Thiruvarangulam neighbourhood of Pudukkottai district in Tamil Nadu, Arangulanathar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Arangulanathar, with the goddess Brahadhambal (also known as Periyanayaki) as the consort deity. The temple is alternatively called Haratheerthiswarar Temple. A notable architectural feature is the mandap containing one hundred intricately carved pillars.
