About Amman Temple

Located in Anna Nagar, Chennai, this venerable temple is dedicated to Devi Thirumaniamman and holds significant historical importance in the region. Originally serving as a village deity shrine when the area was known as Thirumanglam, surrounded by fields, the temple has evolved into a structured place of worship. The current temple complex was substantially developed in 1980, when new installations of Panchamukha Vinayakar, Devi Thirumaniamman, and Bhakta Anjaneya were consecrated with formal dedication ceremonies. The temple operates with regular daily timings and observes special hours during festival occasions, maintaining traditional worship practices and offering various religious services to devotees.
