About the temple
Adat Shiva Temple in Thrissur district houses two principal deities—Sri Parameswara and Maha Vishnu—in separate complexes facing opposite directions. Believed to be one of Kerala's 108 sacred Shiva temples, it was established by sage Parasurama. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
