About the temple

Sri Vinayaka Temple in Guddattu is a rare natural shrine where a self-manifest idol of Lord Ganesha sits cross-legged and submerged in water within a cave formed in a massive granite rock, making it the only Jaladhivasa Ganapathi temple in India. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
