About Guru Narasimha Temple

Located in the village of Saligrama within Udupi district in Karnataka's coastal region, the Guru Narasimha Temple stands as a significant Hindu place of worship. The temple's primary deity is Srimad Yogananda Guru Narasimha, the lion-headed form of Vishnu. The shrine also houses subsidiary deities including Sri Aanjaneya Swamy, Sri Mahaganapathi, and Sri Durgaparameshwari. The temple maintains an active schedule of daily worship and hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, including Narasimha Jayanthi, Rathasapthami, and seasonal celebrations during Shravana Masa and Deepavali. The temple has undertaken significant development projects including a copper covering for the main gateway and construction of a Rajagopura.
