Sri Sri Kalika Maharani Temple
About Sri Sri Kalika Maharani Temple
Located in the Kalika Vihar township at Chira Chas, this contemporary temple was constructed by Aashiyaan Estate Developers between July 2010 and July 2012. The two-story structure spans over 160 feet in length and 50 feet in width, crowned by a stupa exceeding 90 feet in height. The temple's distinctive pentagonal design features five petals that serve as entrances, with the main sanctum housing the Kali deity on the first floor and a large prayer chamber in the basement. Smaller shrines dedicated to Hanuman and Lord Rama occupy the entrance area. According to local tradition, devotees believe Goddess Kali fulfills the wishes of those who approach with a pure heart. The temple spreads across half an acre and has become a significant spiritual landmark in the region.
