Sree Maheswara Temple stands as a significant religious landmark in Koorkenchery, Thrissur city, Kerala. The main deity is Lord Shiva, whose idol was consecrated by the revered spiritual leader Narayana Guru in the year 1092 M.E. (Malayalam Era). The temple complex houses multiple sub-shrines dedicated to various deities including Parvathi, Ganapathi, Murugan, Ayyappan, Krishna, Muthappan, Bhadrakali, Navagrahas, and Nagas, reflecting the rich spiritual diversity of Hindu worship.
