Located in Vadtal, Kheda district, Gujarat, this temple serves as the headquarters of the LaxmiNarayan Dev Gadi and the southern diocese of the Swaminarayan sect founded by Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan himself. The temple complex houses three primary shrines: the central shrine dedicated to Lakshmi Narayan, the right shrine to Radha Krishna, and the left shrine containing idols of Vasudev, Dharma, and Bhakti. Built in the Nagara architectural style with a spire approximately 101 feet high, the temple was completed in 1824 and designed by Swami Brahmanand. Constructed primarily from sandstone and marble, the structure showcases intricate carvings and craftsmanship. The temple grounds include a notable Vada tree beneath which Lord Swaminarayan delivered discourses, and the complex encompasses Akshar Bhavan and residential quarters for devotees seeking spiritual knowledge.
