Situated approximately 12 kilometers from Bodwad town, the Shirsada Hanuman Temple stands as a major pilgrimage center drawing thousands of devotees, particularly on Saturdays, during Shani Amavasya, and on festivals such as Hanuman Jayanti and Ram Navami. Local legend traces the temple's origins to the discovery of a stone idol of Hanuman in a nearby river, which villagers found immovable when attempting to transport it using twelve bullock carts; it was ultimately installed under a neem tree on the riverbank. The temple structure was later constructed through the devotion of Bhusawal resident Dwarkadas Agrawal, who fulfilled a vow after recovery from illness, notably without installing a traditional kalash following a perceived miracle during construction. Governed by the Jai Hanuman Mandir Trust, the complex encompasses additional smaller shrines and is renowned for fulfilling vows, attracting notable visitors including politicians and public figures. The temple remains open daily from early morning to evening and continues to seek official designation as a tirthakshetra to facilitate infrastructure development.
