About Shirdi Sai Baba Temple

The Shirdi Sai Cultural & Community Center represents the first Sai Mandir in New Jersey, opening its doors on March 1st, 2008. The temple features a magnificent idol of Sai Baba standing six feet high, an exact replica of the deity enshrined at the original Shirdi temple in India. The recently renovated Durbar hall provides a majestic altar setting, while the mandir hall displays paintings depicting Sai Baba's life and teachings. The center conducts four daily aartis—Kakada Aarti at 8:30 AM, Madhyana Aarti at noon, Dhoop Aarti at 6:00 PM, and Shej Aarti at 8:00 PM (with extended evening aarti until 9:00 PM on Thursdays). Beyond worship, the community center organizes extensive social welfare activities including Annadanam food service, shelter support, medical camps, and blood drives. The temple emphasizes Sai Baba's core principle of inter-religious harmony and universal brotherhood, offering free yoga classes and Bal Vikas educational programs for children.
