About the temple

Savitri Mata Mandir is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Savitri, the first wife of Lord Brahma, situated atop Ratnagiri Hill in Pushkar, Rajasthan. According to legend, Goddess Savitri chose this hilltop as her abode after being replaced by Goddess Gayatri during Brahma's yagna ceremony. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
