About Pashupatinath Temple

Located in Plumstead, London, Pashupatinath Temple UK was initiated by a group of Nepalese people in Greenwich Borough beginning in 2003, with the current temple building purchased and operational since 2011. The temple serves as a cultural and spiritual centre for the Nepali and broader Hindu community, promoting Hindu philosophy and culture through regular religious festivals aligned with the Nepali calendar, community events, and worship services. The temple maintains a dedicated priest and organizes celebrations throughout the year including Teej, Raksha Bandhan, Krishna Janmashtami, Dashain, Diwali, and other significant Hindu observances. It functions as a bridge between traditional Nepali-Hindu practices and the local London community.
