Located in the Manor Park area of London Borough of Newham, this temple was established as a charity in 1975 and formally consecrated in February 1984 after nine years of worship in temporary venues. The structure features marble construction with intricate Dravidian architectural elements reflecting South Indian temple design. Lord Murugan, revered as the remover of obstacles and bestower of wisdom and courage, is the presiding deity alongside his divine consorts. The temple serves as a vibrant center for religious rituals, poojas, and major festivals including Thaipusam, Panguni Uthiram, Skanda Shashti, and the annual Chariot Festival. Beyond its spiritual significance, it functions as a cultural hub fostering Tamil traditions and Hindu values among the diaspora, with services including daily abhishekams, annadhaanam (food offerings), and online poojas.
