Paschimesvara Siva Temple

The lingam remains the focal point of the temple, visible among the fallen stones at the site. As a Siva temple, this shrine would have been dedicated to the worship of Siva in his abstract form as the lingam, the symbol through which devotees approach the deity. The western-facing orientation and the steps leading to the lingam suggest a deliberate architectural arrangement that guided worshippers' movement toward the sacred center.
