Niranam Thrikkapaleeswaram Dakshinamurthy Temple

According to tradition, the sage Parashurama installed the deity here in ancient times. The temple is one of 108 Shiva temples consecrated by Parashurama across Kerala, a sacred network that remains central to the region's religious geography. Of these 108, three bear the name Thrikkapaleeswaram; the others are located in Peralassery (Kannur district) and Nadapuram (Kozhikode district).
