About Mukkolakkal Bhagawathi Temple

One of Kerala's renowned Devi temples, Mukkolakkal Bhagawathi Temple stands in Sreevaraham, positioned southeast of the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple and south of the Lakshmi Varaha Temple. The presiding deity's idol, crafted from Panchaloha, faces north along with the self-sprung earthen mound. The temple complex encompasses multiple sacred presences including Maha Ganapathi, Naagar, Brahma Rakshas, Thampuran, and Yakshiamma. The temple's primary annual celebration, Ooruttu Mahotsavam, takes place during March and April, drawing devotees for religious observances.
