Makhauda Dham is an ancient Hindu temple in Harraiya tehsil, Basti district, situated on the banks of the Manorama river, traditionally believed to be the site where Raja Dashrath performed the Putrakameshti yagya with Sage Rishyasringa. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
