Cheruvathur Sri Mahadeva Temple in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur, is one of Kerala's 108 ancient Shiva temples traditionally established by sage Parasurama. The deity, worshipped as Cheruvathurappan, resides in an east-facing circular sanctum with a copper roof. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
