About the temple

Ambaji Temple is one of India's 51 Shakti Peethas, located in the Aravalli Hills of Gujarat's Banaskantha district. Uniquely, it houses no traditional idol but instead features a gold-plated Shree Yantra as the object of worship. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
