Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Temple, Nagda

The temple was established in 2012 following eight years of careful planning and construction of its sacred space. The formal dedication ceremony, known as the lokarpan, took place on 28 December 2012. The construction reflects a distinctive approach: no cement or steel was used in building the vastu (sacred structure), and the community was invited to participate by contributing individual bricks to the construction.

The temple's design incorporates several notable features. The central idol of Ganesha stands 2.6 feet tall, carved from pure white stone and positioned upon a lotus flower. The main hall has been painted with a sky theme, creating a visual concept that the deity exists both on earth and in the heavens. The temple reaches a height of 54 feet, with 21 steps leading to the entrance. A passage of 108 feet provides access to the ashtavinayak darshan (viewing of the eight forms of Ganesha). The premises include a sculptured garden depicting various episodes from Ganesha's journey, and an elephant statue has been erected within the temple grounds. The architectural design incorporates solar alignment, allowing sunlight to pass across the Ganesha idol on Gude Padwa, the Marathi New Year.

Daily Worship and Darshan

The temple opens daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, providing extended hours for devotees to visit and offer prayers. Two principal aartis (ritual worship ceremonies) are performed each day: the morning aarti at 7:00 AM and the evening aarti at 7:00 PM. These ceremonies form the core of the temple's daily worship rhythm.

The temple offers online pooja booking facilities, allowing devotees to arrange personalized worship services in advance. This facility enables those unable to visit in person to participate remotely in temple rituals, combining traditional devotional practice with modern accessibility.
