Shree Mahaveer Mandir
About Shree Mahaveer Mandir
According to local tradition, the idol of Lord Mahavir emerged from beneath the earth near Chandanpur village after a cowherd noticed his cow spontaneously offering milk at a mound by the Gambhir River. When attempts to relocate the idol proved unsuccessful, a Digambar Jain devotee named Shri Amarchand Jain constructed a temple at the site, which devotees believe was chosen by Lord Mahavir himself. The shrine has since become renowned for its spiritual significance and miraculous occurrences, drawing pilgrims throughout the year for darshan and participation in daily rituals.
