Thaliyil Mahadeva Temple is an ancient Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of Meenachil River in Kottayam District, Kerala. According to tradition, Sage Parashurama installed the deity, and the temple is one of 108 Shiva temples in Kerala. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
