About Shri Vinayaka Shankaranarayana Durgamba Temple
Located in Nandavara, approximately three kilometers from Marnabailu, this temple is dedicated to Lord Vinayaka, Lord Shankara Narayana, and Goddess Durgamba. The temple has undergone significant modernization while preserving its traditional character, featuring renovated sanctums for all three deities, a new entrance with a Swagatha Gopuram, and a brass-wrapped flagpole. Recent additions include the Nanda Deepa auditorium for multipurpose events, a new Bhojanashala (dining hall), and the Community Tower. The temple hosts the annual Jathra Mahotsava celebration and conducts various religious observances. Community service initiatives include the Akshaya Neyhravathi midday meal program and free medical examination camps for local residents.
