Located in the coastal town of Paravur, Puttingal Devi Temple was established following a divine manifestation of the goddess on an anthill. The temple celebrates its principal festival during the Bharani star of the Malayalam month Meenam, featuring fireworks, Kathakali performances, and cultural events. The most significant offering, Thottampattu, begins on the 21st day of Vrischikam and continues until the main festival. Daily worship includes various poojas and devotional offerings for the fulfillment of devotees' wishes and grievances.
