About Madan Mohan Temple
The temple houses the deity of Madan Mohan Ji, believed to have been created by Vajranabh (great-grandson of Krishna) from mystical black stone called Brajapatthar. According to temple tradition, Vajranabh crafted the statues under the direction of his grandmother Uttara, who had direct darshan of Krishna. The murti is flanked by icons of Radha and Lalita in the central altar. Madan Mohan Ji forms part of a sacred trinity with Govind Dev Ji and Gopinath Ji in Jaipur, collectively representing the complete form of Krishna. The temple is known for its peaceful atmosphere, spiritual devotion, and timeless heritage, offering devotees opportunities for worship and inner peace through various ritual offerings and accommodations.
