About Jarai-ka-Math
This ancient shrine stands as a masterpiece of 9th-century temple architecture, constructed during the reign of Mihira Bhoja of the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty. The temple features intricate stone carvings and sculptures adorning its walls and pillars, with the eastern side of its shikhara lavishly ornamented with massive stone sculptures. Within the sanctum resides a Shiva lingam believed by devotees to be growing in size, symbolizing the eternal and limitless nature of Lord Shiva.
